Ger Kenny is an Irish painter of portrait and figurative works using traditional methods in oil. He has studied traditional painting techniques but compliments this with his own personal style. His work has come to national press attention in Ireland such as ‘The Moral Fiver’ which was featured in the Irish Times among other national news outlets. Ger has exhibited in group and charity exhibitions including the selection of one of his portraits for the LAS exhibition in The Hunt Museum which was opened by the Irish President Michael D Higgins.
